Account Manager

Medical Professional Liability Insurer
Our growing firm is seeking a motivated, self-starter with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Medical Professional Liability Account Manager. The account manager is responsible for working with carrier, producers, and clients on new and renewal medical malpractice insurance servicing to include client meetings, application management, certificate processing, policy servicing, producer sales support, maintain client files, and manage client data. This role entails considerable accounting management, including accurately and timely processing invoices, internal insurance data reporting and account receivables. The individual must be a problem-solver, system thinker and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to provide excellent service to clients
- Provide sales support to business development officer and producers
- Fulfill client requests for policy changes, billing inquiries and verification of insurance coverage
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile premiums payments, broker commissions, other internal financial data
- Make bank deposits and post monetary deposits across different client accounts
- Prepare, reconcile, and distribute internal reports monthly, and as needed
The Requirements
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles

- Experience in insurance brokerage or related insurance sales preferred
