One of the many things that sets Candice apart is her holistic approach to human resources. For her, companies are about their people as much as their products, services, and policies.

“As a Holistic HR Practitioner with a DEI Lens, my approach to HR is different. I bring my authentic self to our clients and become an extension of their company to help them reach their goals and make systemic changes.”

In addition to her college degree and HR credentials, Candice is a certified DEI Practitioner. For her, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion isn’t just about race or gender. It’s about building a culture in your organization that empowers people of all ages and cultural backgrounds, resulting in systemic change.

“Currently, in the workplace, we have five generations, and we don’t have the skills to communicate with each other properly. I love to be that advocate, to have those conversations; it’s what I’m here for.”

Candice has a track record for working with people while navigating HR systems for positive experiences and successful outcomes.

“For me, it’s about bringing your authentic self to whatever you do,” she explains.

Before joining the TREW crew, she led a B2B company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) effort while handling payroll, budget monitoring, workers’ compensation, employee records, hiring, onboarding, reviews, and other HR-related matters. Candice also administered HR compliance for a senior care facility, where she played a crucial role in staff professional licensing and certifications, HIPAA requirements, and the facility safety board. She has extensive experience in employee records, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, safety, and frontline customer service.

Education & Qualifications

An SHRM Certified Professional, Candice is active in the business community, serving on the board of directors for the Human Resources Professionals of Central PA as the diversity chair. She earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in human resources management from York College of Pennsylvania.
